Week 2 Check...

B-my body is not as sore as it would be had I not had my results & recovery drink yesterday...folks I totally recommend it!  I ordered it and 5 days later it arrived!  I was hurting yesterday from Ashley's kick your body workout yesterday but I had my recovery drink and I am okay today...back is sore but from sleeping poorly I am sure of it!  I am pushing through workouts and trying my hardest to do level 3's

L-I am learning that it's still a day to day struggle for me with my eating...I am pushing for more veggies...bought a bag of spinach yesterday..was proud.  have cut out rice and pastas and am okay.  I know I can do this.  Sweets, there are alternatives, I had an italian ice and it was very yummy!  Food will not beat me.

O-I have observed that there are those that will help you through this and those that will help you sabotage yourself...I want to be around those that will help me through this.  I know I can do this, I see the success stories on the wall and try to remind myself that it can and has been done and try to stay motivated.

G-I was tempted to quit...but didn't, the fourth was hard and the days that followed were too..made some poor decisions but I'm back on track with week 3.  Off to a good start and will work hard to stay focused.  The office can have their Five Guys...I'll have my baked chicken, green bean thingy, and spinach!!!

S-My goal will be to space out my workouts so that I don't have back to back days off between my workouts...makes it that much harder to get back to working out.

  1. Go Linda..you got this! Glad that you are really taking the time to look at what you eat. Your breaded chicken threw me off that one meal, but you've come back more fierce and determined and making a stance on NOT eating that Five Guys!

    1. hahaha so tempting...and yes I have you over my right shoulder reminding me that I need to cook more and NOT eat my breaded easy frozen meats..lol. Thank you for calling me out on that and the spaghetti! ;)

  2. I agree with Flo..five guys is the devil!! trust me your stronger than this challenge.. I believe in you!! It's not easy I know and temptation is every where but remember why you're doing this, keep a mental picture, if it helps write down your whys and how you're going to overcome this obstacles and put them somewhere you'll see them everyday. you're doing great. remember I'm always here for you!
