Another week gone by...seems like this should be getting easier but I feel it's only getting harder!

B-how does my body feel...I am still very achy.  I did crossfit and it really worked my legs.  I took Friday off but walked around work for about 25 mins and worked up a sweat. Went back at it on Saturday...still stiff and moved enough to warm it up to jog!  Just goes to show that your body can do so much more then you think!  Today....I'm still hurting but know I can do it!

L-what have you learned about you...that I can do anthing I set my mind to.  I can workout on a daily basis...I can do harder challenging workouts...I can resist tempting foods like i did tonight.  It really is about stepping back and thinking about that end goal and what you really want and not letting yourself get side tracked!

O-what have I observed...that i am my worst critic.  Having seen my college buddies this past weekend i noticed that they had noticed a huge change in me and I still had nothing to say about myself.  Not being able to acknowlege the small acomplishments that I have made even if not at my goal yet.  I need to be more positive about my current appearance and embrace the small changes.

G-what small goals can i celebrate...tonight here in TN our office went to dinner and before hand I let everyone know i was going to workout and if i caught up great if not oh well.  A few said they wouldn't tell, to take the night off, and that just wasn't good enough for me.  I am accountable for myself, if i cheat I only cheat myself!  So i worked out and met them for dinner still...dinner was not on the menu for me....even though they tempted me with all their greasy foods at the sports bar I opted for water.  Shakeology here in my room is my delicious option!!!

S-goals this week...since I will be here for several days my goals will be to make smart decisions, stay away from fried, large portioned, carby foods!  I KNOW I CAN DO IT!!!!

Happy Week Journey Folks!  I will see you next week back at the Worx!

  2. I know its really hard when you are out of your own environment, but kudos to you for making the time to do your workout. If you have a camera, I know some of the coaches have skyped in and have done workouts together. Maybe that's an option for you.

  3. Way to say no to temptation and sticking to your goals!! People will always tempt you, but THEY are not the ones who will feel the guilt or worse after cheating...YOU will. Keep pushing hard and don't give up!!!
